Customer Service Manager, Michelle McCoy, and Councillor Patsie Marson proudly handed over the fund raising donations earlier this week following yet another successful Santa's Grotto at Pescod Square Shopping Centre.
Santa's Grotto is a much loved by so many, bringing joy to so many children, and is genuinely the highlight of the festive season at the centre. Raising vital funds for these and other charities, thanks to the generosity of visitors, efforts of the amazingly dedicated volunteers, and the support from Metsa Wood year on year.
We are so proud of the community spirit that surrounds Santa's Grotto which was designed and built by our partners Metsa Wood in 2020. It is heart-warming to know that the funds raised make such a positive difference within our community and raising awareness for the amazing works these charities do.
The day was made even more memorable with the appearances from some of the animals supported by the charities, who brought plenty strokes, cuddles, licks and kisses to everyone involved.
